Distinguished as the UK Based Gospel Artist of the year by Ghana Music Awards UK, Alice Mckenzie have built her music career on the beauty of God and powerhouse vocals that call us to honor and celebrate God in all his power and glory. The Anglia Ruskin University graduate and Registered Nurse, has a destined purpose of bringing people to the knowledge and acceptance of the Godhead and their power at work in us even today.

Alice Mckenzie is a UK based Ghanaian Gospel Singer, a song writer, business owner and philanthropist based in the UK.

Alice is a second daughter of three children, she had dreams of singing when she was growing up and was writing songs which became a passion.

She started singing as a hobby in churches at the age of ten in Ghana until she was relocated from Ghana to the United Kingdom to join her family to continue her education in the UK.

Alice attended Newham sixth-form and Redbridge College in London where she obtained a diploma in Housing.

Alice continued her higher education at Anglia Ruskin University in Essex, where she graduated as a Registered Nurse.

Alice aptitude in nursing got her into a specialist nursing role and her passion for caring and willingness to help people pushed her singing on hold. She also opened Golden Neutral Association in the UK, aimed to help people in need as well as charitable services.

On the contrary, Alice kept singing as a hobby until she met her role model pastor and singer at a musical conference where she performed and was inspired to do more for the kingdom of God.

After many years of waiting, in January 2018, Alice and her management team released her first recorded EP titled “Ahunutanhunu”. The hit track Ahunutanhunu featured Ghana’s powerful vocal duo; Noble Nkestiah and Morris Babyface. Then in 2022, she released her second EP dubbed “You Alone”, which included the award-wining song “Omo God” which featuring Morris Babyface.

Alice has ministered in many churches across the UK and has been nominated in many categories for awards in the diaspora areas. Her style of writings and music have ministered to millions bringing healing, hope, encouragement, and strengthening their faith in Christ Jesus.

She has received awards including the Best Worship Song of the Year (Ghana Music Awards UK – 2022, Best Gospel Artist of the Year (Ghana Music Awards UK – 2023, Best Afro Beat Song of the Year (TMMP Awards UK 2023) and Best Collaboration Song of the Year (Ghana Music Awards UK 2019).

Alice has featured many artists including Noble Nketsiah for her song Ahuntanhunu meaning Hidden Treasure, Yahweh with Qwesi Oteng, In your Presence with Kobby Mantey, Ayeyi with Brother Sammy, Omo God with Morris Babyface.
